Official integration · nothing to install

Your Shopify, talking on WhatsApp.

You choose at which moments of the order a message goes out and what it says. WhatsBoost writes for you, in each customer's language and from your own number. And you upload nothing to your store: it connects from your panel.

The order’s journey

From "we got your order" to "it's at your door".

Five moments when your customer wants to know something. Five messages that go out on their own, from your number.

Abandoned carts

You can write to people who never checked out. But not any way you like.

WhatsBoost writes on WhatsApp to whoever left products in the basket, with Shopify's own link to pick the purchase up where they left it. And it comes with the brakes on, because this is not an order notification.

This is marketing, not an order notice

Spanish LSSI law requires prior consent, and the “similar products” exemption requires a previous purchase — an abandoned cart is not one. On top of that, unsolicited messaging gets your number reported and blocked by WhatsApp; if that happens you also lose the order notices, which are perfectly legitimate.

Only to those who gave permissionPermission comes from what Shopify already collects from the customer at checkout. You choose which box counts, and we say so instead of faking a box of our own.
An opt-out link in every messageThe {link_baja} tag is in the template from the very first moment.
Time windowNo messages at three in the morning: you pick the hours it may send.
Minimum amountChase only the carts worth chasing, not the three-euro ones.
Off by defaultIt cannot switch itself on. You enable it, once you have consent.

Everything it does

What your Shopify will do on its own from today

Everything below is included in your account. Nothing is paid separately.

The core Automatic messages per order event
Order received Paid Shipped Delivered Cancelled Refunded
Six moments: received, paid, shipped, delivered, cancelled and refunded. Tick the ones you want and write the text for each. Shopify tells WhatsBoost by webhook the moment it happens.
Languages One template per language
ESENFRCA
Shopify knows which language each customer bought in. Templates in Spanish, English, Catalan and French, plus your store's language.
Tags Ten order details
{nombre} {apellido} {producto_pedido} {cantidad} {precio} {plazo} {tienda} {link} {order_number} {tracking}
Your number You choose which WhatsApp account speaks You choose which connected number in your panel speaks for each store. Not a borrowed number, and not shared with anyone.
Permission Permission comes from what Shopify already collects No custom checkbox can be added to Shopify's checkout. You choose whether mobile marketing consent, general marketing consent or none counts, and the panel tells you what each one implies.
Welcome A greeting right after signing up When Shopify creates a customer with a phone. Sent once, with its own template per language.
Maintenance Always up to date, nothing to update The integration lives in almc.es: no ZIP, no version to upload, no module getting old.
Abandoned carts Win back the basket left half-finished With chained reminders, a time window in your store's timezone, a minimum amount and an opt-out link. Off by default: it is advertising and needs permission.
Support You can see whether the connection is alive Valid token, registered webhooks, last notice from Shopify and connected number: all under "Connected modules", in sentences rather than codes.
Traceability A log of what was touched Every change and every notice from Shopify, with its date. The last 500 lines are kept, and the token is never stored there.
Privacy Handles Shopify's data requests If a customer asks for their data or for it to be erased, Shopify notifies us and WhatsBoost cleans it up without losing their opt-out.
Compatibility Your Shopify store as it is No theme to touch and no files to upload: an app from your own Dev Dashboard, with read-only scopes, authorized through OAuth.
Price Included in your account Each message counts as one more message on your plan. No extra charge for the integration.

Setting it up

Five steps with a Shopify app. That is it.

You need a WhatsBoost account with a linked number: it is free and takes scanning a QR code once. Then, an app in the Shopify Dev Dashboard (the developer account is free):

Create the app at dev.shopify.comSign in with your Shopify account, click Create app, give it a name (for example "WhatsBoost") and choose an API-only app, with no interface.
Give it read-only scopesIn access scopes tick read_orders, read_customers and read_fulfillments. Not one more: the app cannot write anything in your store.
Paste the WhatsBoost redirect URLIn the app's redirect URLs paste the one shown in the WhatsBoost → Shopify panel. It is the same for everyone.
"Custom" distribution, for your storeChoose your store as the target. No review or publishing needed.
Copy the Client ID and Client secret, and authorizePaste them under WhatsBoost → Shopify and click Connect: it takes you to Shopify to authorize the app and comes back on its own. They are stored encrypted. From then on WhatsBoost registers the webhooks and Shopify tells it about every order.

Once done, you choose at which moments a message goes out and what it says. Start with two or three events, measure the response and expand from there.

The connection

Connect your store

It is done from your WhatsBoost panel. If you do not have an account yet, it asks you for one first: it is free and nothing gets installed.

  • Nothing to download or update
  • Scopes in Shopify: read-only
  • You connect it under WhatsBoost → Shopify

Your shop already knows all this. It just had no way to say it.

Connect your store and pick the first event. Doing it takes less time than reading this page.
