What is WhatsBoost?

WhatsBoost is ALMC's platform that turns your WhatsApp number into a complete support and sales channel: an AI chatbot replies to your customers 24/7, books appointments, takes payments and saves every contact in a CRM. No coding, nothing to install, and you keep your number.

It works with your existing WhatsApp (regular or Business) linked via QR code, just like WhatsApp Web. Everything is managed from a browser panel, with these modules included:

How do I get started with WhatsBoost?

Creating an account is free and in under 5 minutes you can have the chatbot running: sign up, connect your WhatsApp number by scanning a QR code and tell the AI what your business does. No technical skills required.

  1. Create your free accountSign up with your email. The basic plan is free forever with no commitment: perfect for testing with real customers.
  2. Connect your WhatsAppScan the QR code in the panel from your phone, just like you would with WhatsApp Web. Full details in the next section.
  3. Set up the AI chatbotDescribe your business in plain language: what you sell, opening hours, prices, address. With that, the AI already answers the usual questions for you.
  4. Invite your team (optional)Add the people who handle your WhatsApp so you can work together in the shared inbox, each with their own login.

Tip: start on the free plan, let the bot answer for a few days and check the analytics. You will know exactly what it brings you before considering an upgrade.

How do I connect my WhatsApp number?

WhatsBoost links to your WhatsApp just like WhatsApp Web: on your phone open WhatsApp → Settings → Linked devices → Link a device, and scan the QR code shown in the panel. Both regular WhatsApp and WhatsApp Business work, and your number does not change.

  1. Open the WhatsBoost panel and go to the number connection section.
  2. On your phone: WhatsApp → Settings → Linked devices → Link a device.
  3. Scan the QR code shown on screen.
  4. When the status turns to “connected”, you can send and receive from the panel.

What if it disconnects?

As with WhatsApp Web, the session depends on your phone having battery and internet. If it drops, the panel tells you and you simply scan the QR again to reconnect; your conversations, contacts and settings are not lost.

Multiple numbers

Depending on your plan you can connect more than one number and configure each one separately: sending hours, bot behaviour and independent campaign pacing.

Team inbox

Every WhatsApp conversation of your business lands in a shared, chat-style inbox: your team replies from the panel, conversations are assigned between agents and the customer keeps talking to your usual number without noticing a thing.

  • Several agents at once on the same number, each with their own user.
  • Conversation assignment: who handles what, without stepping on each other.
  • Saved replies to answer repetitive questions in two clicks.
  • Full contact history next to the chat: orders, CRM notes and previous conversations.
  • Send text, images, documents and voice notes — even AI-generated audio from text.

How do I send bulk campaigns without getting my number banned?

Create the campaign, pick the contacts and WhatsBoost sends the messages gradually, with pauses and inside the time window you define. That rate control mimics human sending and is the best protection against bans; opt-outs (STOP) are handled automatically too.

  1. Prepare the audience: import contacts or segment the ones already in your CRM.
  2. Write the message with variables (name, company…) so every send feels personal. You can attach images or documents.
  3. Set the sending pace and the time window. If the campaign does not fit in the window, it resumes on its own the next day.
  4. Launch it right away or schedule it, and track deliveries and replies from the campaign analytics.

Automatic opt-outs (STOP)

If a contact replies STOP (or the opt-out word you configure), they join the suppression list and never receive campaigns again. GDPR compliance without keeping lists by hand.

Anti-ban best practices

  • Only message people who know you and have given consent.
  • With a freshly connected number, start with few sends and ramp up gradually.
  • Personalise with variables: hundreds of identical messages are the most obvious spam signal.
  • Respect business hours; nobody wants offers at 3 a.m.
  • Keep the conservative default pace of your plan: it exists to protect your number.

How does the AI chatbot work?

You explain what your business does (services, hours, prices, address) and the AI instantly answers your customers' questions, in their language and with your tone. When the conversation needs a human, your team continues it manually from the inbox.

On top of the AI, you get classic automations that fire on their own:

  • Welcome message the first time someone writes to you.
  • Away reply outside your business hours.
  • Keyword replies (“price”, “hours”, “appointment”…).
  • Anti-loop protection: if the sender is another bot, WhatsBoost cuts the conversation instead of replying forever.

You set the boundary per number: switch the bot on or off whenever you want, give it a fallback message for when it does not know the answer, and use “agent mode” to decide whether, besides replying, it can take actions — creating bookings and payment requests — on its own. Your team can always step in from the inbox and reply manually.

CRM: contacts and sales pipelines

Every person who writes to you is saved as a contact with their full history. Deals move through the stages of your pipeline on a kanban board, so no sale is left half-done because of a missed follow-up.

  • Contacts created automatically from conversations.
  • Customisable pipelines by stage, on a draggable kanban board.
  • Each deal links to its WhatsApp conversation: full context in one click.
  • Follow-up reminders to pick up pending sales in time.

How do I sell and take payments on WhatsApp?

Upload your products to the catalog, share them in the chat and turn the conversation into an order: the customer receives a payment link and you see the order in the panel. If you work with appointments, booking and confirmation also run on their own over WhatsApp.

  • Product catalog with photo, price and description, ready to share in the chat.
  • Orders recorded in the panel, with their status and linked conversation.
  • Payment links to charge without leaving WhatsApp.
  • Appointment booking with automatic confirmation, handled by the bot or from the panel.

WhatsApp statuses from the panel

Publish statuses (WhatsApp “stories”) directly from WhatsBoost without picking up the phone, and browse the statuses your contacts publish in a read-only wall.

Statuses are the cheapest storefront you have: they expire on their own after 24 hours and are seen by contacts who already saved your number — exactly your warmest audience.

Analytics and reports

Measure what happens on your WhatsApp: messages sent and received, deliveries, results per campaign and activity per period. Everything can be exported to CSV whenever you need it.

Each campaign keeps its sending history, so you can compare which messages work best before repeating a promotion.

API and integrations

WhatsBoost includes an API with a per-account key to send WhatsApp messages from your own applications, plus official modules for PrestaShop and WordPress that automatically notify your customers about their order status.

Authentication

Create your key in the panel (WhatsBoost → API → “Create key”). The key is shown only once, starts with wbk_live_ and is sent in the Authorization header of every request:

Authorization: Bearer wbk_live_xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Available endpoints

  • GET /api/v1/whatsboost/sessionsLists your connected numbers (id, label, phone, status).
  • POST /api/v1/whatsboost/messagesQueues a text message. Replies 202 instantly and the actual delivery respects the number's anti-ban pacing.
  • GET /api/v1/whatsboost/messagesMessage history, filterable by number (session_id) or conversation (chat); up to 200 per request.
  • GET /api/v1/whatsboost/groups?session_id=…Lists a number's groups with their jid; use that jid as the recipient to send to a group.

Example: send a message

curl -X POST https://almc.es/api/v1/whatsboost/messages \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer wbk_live_..." \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -H "Accept: application/json" \
  -d '{"session_id": TU_SESSION_ID, "to": "34600111222", "text": "Hola desde la API 👋"}'

HTTP/1.1 202 Accepted
{"id": 12345, "queued": true}

The 202 with queued:true means “accepted and queued”: delivery respects the number's pacing (freshly connected numbers send slower, to protect them) and your plan limits. You can add an Idempotency-Key header to retry a request without risking a duplicate send.

Replace TU_SESSION_ID with your session number: it is the "id" field returned by this call, and it is shown in the "API ID" column of the Sessions screen. It is not the phone number.

Errors you may receive

  • 401 — missing, invalid or revoked key.
  • 404 — the number (session_id) does not exist or does not belong to your account.
  • 422 — invalid recipient or plan quota exceeded (the response states the reason and the limit).
  • 429 — too many requests: the API is rate-limited per key and per account.
  • 409 — (groups) that number is not connected right now.

Plans, limits and accounts

The basic plan is free forever and includes the essentials to get started. Paid plans expand sending limits, connected numbers and advanced modules, and you can change or cancel anytime from the panel.

Prices and what each plan includes are always up to date on the pricing page. See plans and pricing

Frequently asked questions

Do I need the official WhatsApp Business API (Meta) or company verification?
No. WhatsBoost links to your WhatsApp just like WhatsApp Web: no Meta API, no company verification and no per-conversation fees. Create the account, scan the QR and you are done.
Does it work with WhatsApp Business?
Yes. You can connect both regular WhatsApp and WhatsApp Business. Your number, profile and chats stay exactly the same; WhatsBoost is added as one more linked device.
Can I keep using WhatsApp on my phone at the same time?
Yes. Your phone keeps working normally, and whatever you answer from it is also recorded in the panel inbox.
What happens if my number disconnects?
The panel shows the session status. To reconnect you just scan the QR code again; you lose no conversations, contacts or settings.
Does WhatsBoost guarantee my number will never be banned?
Nobody can guarantee that 100% — distrust anyone who promises it. What WhatsBoost does is minimise the risk: rate control, pauses between messages, time windows and automatic STOP opt-outs. Combined with the best practices in this guide, it is the safest way to send.
Where is my data stored?
On servers within the European Union, GDPR-compliant. The data is yours: you can export your analytics metrics to CSV and exercise your rights at any time.
Can I change plans or cancel whenever I want?
Yes. There is no lock-in: you upgrade or downgrade from the panel, and the free basic plan never expires.
What support do you offer if I get stuck?
Real support over WhatsApp and email (info@almc.es), in Spanish and Catalan. Write to us and we will help you get your chatbot running.
